Adv Thabiso Mohapi has been in legal practice in Lesotho since 1993. He has worked as Legal officer at the Department of Labour; legal manager and corporate secretary at LEC; Metolong Authority and Lesotho Millennium Development Authority; Deputy Director of DDPR from its inception in 2001 up to 2008. He has undertaken mediation, conciliation and arbitration of labour disputes and presided over matters in the Public Service, Teaching Service and Procurement tribunals and part – time in the Labour Court. He has lectured in conciliation and arbitration; labour relations and industrial relations at NUL and IDM. He has appeared as counsel in labour, construction and commercial legal disputes and also chaired disciplinary processes in public and private establishments. He has provided training for local and international audiences on commercial arbitration; general alternative dispute resolution, labour law/legislations and labour dispute resolution.
Adv Mohapi currently advises in areas of labour law, labour relations, labour administration; dispute resolution, legal aspects of project and contract management; legal compliance; corporate governance and conducts capacity building in the areas.
